Oh yes, we’re back again to remind you of the best games from a particular year, and today we’re looking at 2006. You’ve only got to look at the games that just missed out on a spot on this list to know what a great year 2006 was for us gamers. The likes of Bully, Half-Life 2: Episode One, and New Super Mario Bros., were all fantastic titles, but they weren’t a patch on the ten games that lie ahead. Here are the 10 Best Games of 2006.

    Whenever Okami is mentioned I've to bring up this amazing quote from the Chief Editor of the Magazine N-Zone at the Time at end of her Test: "Okami is the best Zelda that Nintendo never developed." I wholeheartedly agree.

    Man, guitar hero 2!!, used to rock the hell out of it, then guitar hero 1, then the rest. Use to do tournaments in the area, but I use to do ddr tournaments, so when the gh3 tournaments started, I was uber1337 masters bro!

    2005 and 2006 is really when I started getting into gaming. Shadow of the Colossus, God of War, Resident Evil 4, Twilight Princess, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. So many good games those years. Then 2007, 2011, and 2013 ended up being crazy years with each month having like three games worth spending $60 on. We don't get years like those any more. A non-holiday season month with one big AAA release is a good month.

    I swear Gears of War still has one of the most detailed textures ever bring on a console game it had like 4k textures in an age where game almost didnt even got 1080p resolution

    Still trying to beat FF12. The story is a bit funky, like I kinda understand but it’s a lot of names to remember. Love the gameplay and characters though.
