Whenever I want to feel motivated, I’d always play the USAA hold music 🤣. Glad you gave it an A tier

I work at USAA and enjoy our hold music and selfishly give it an S tier. However the BEST hold music I have ever heard, was this small repair facility somewhere in the US. That had “Dont want to miss a thing” by Aerosmith as the hold music. The rep almost caught me singing along!

I once called my car insurance company and they had the star wars music from when like finds his aunt and uncles skeletons outside their home in a new hope. What an emotional call.

I used to be a travel agent, and if I remember correctly, it was one of the European airlines—maybe Lufthansa?— that had original hold music, but if you paid attention, it had airport sounds incorporated into the song. Like soft sounds of airplanes taking off and landing, and little PA system chimes. But it wasn't annoying, it was really interesting. It felt like someone put a lot of effort into the CX aspect of it. But I couldn't help but think about how many people were probably calling in from actual airports lol
