A shorter piece whilst I continue to get back on track, but a piece I wished to cover none-the-less, as I like having one of these more comical little moments every now and then!

A shorter piece again whilst I get things back in order but a very fun moment I wished to cover! Not doing a butchered attempt at the TTS Sicarius voice here took a large amount of willpower! More longer form content coming soon, if you enjoyed this please do like, comment and subscribe as it helps a lot! My thanks for watching!

Scenes like this are why I love the returned Guilliman as a character. He is the only person in the Imperium who both remembers how the Imperium once was and who is allowed to talk about it without being immediately shot for heresy.

Loyal primarchs telling joke. - Sanguinius enters a room and tells a joke. Whole room laughs. They demand more. - Vulkan tells a joke but it is full of references that only his sons would understand. - Random ceiling coolant falls and kills a servitor. Corvus groans "Throne, I wish that was me..." - Lion tells a joke. It is a good joke but nobody laughs. - Jagathai tells the same joke but louder. Everyone laughs. - Russ tells a joke. It's not a good joke and he burst into laughter halfway through telling it. People laugh because of the way he said it. - Ferus tells a joke but only Fulgrim laughs at it. He tells it again, despite people wanting him not to. - Guilliman tells dad jokes. Exclusively. The room is divided between cringe silence, few chuckles and one, very loud laghter by a Harlequin who somehow slipped inside the room. - Dorn tells a joke. Refuses to leave. Elaborates.
  • Sicarius: Humor is not something you are renowned for, my lord. Guilliman: Do you mean to tell me that second book I penned: "The Codex Jokestartes", was never put into print?
  • @grimnir8872
I like how the ending sentence sort of implies Gulliman thought he had a good sense of humour and that the lack of it being recorded and instead the history books seeing him as a dull pencil pusher seems to hurt him harder than it should. The guy just wants a little fun.

I approve of Sicarius's new role of being the Space Marine version of Jurgen.
  • @Aurora-313
The marines of 41K: I wonder what grand schemes and plots the Lord Regent has on his mind, surely they must be wonderous and terrifying to behold... Guilliman's actual thoughts: Throne of Terra, I need a coffee, to scratch my ass and a bath, in that order.
  • @Channel-23s
Feel like Gullimen is the type to throw out Dad Jokes and Complicated jokes depending on the situation
  • @jacobdarling1524
Guilliman low key overcame his need for the Armour of Fate so he could get back to his true love: paperwork.
  • @erihor86
I like that Sicarius would die for Guilliman but bending down and helping him pick up his papers is seemingly a task below a space marine lord so instead he offers to summon a servant. To be fair he might have been unable to do so as well.
  • Sicarius: you're not renowned for jokes, my lord Rough translation: it was c r i n g e father
  • @BloodWolf752
It's nice to see Gulliman getting some character growth and development. Also the mental image of a towering demi-god who once helped conquer the galaxy struggling to pick up basic office supplies off the floor and grumbling all the while will never not be funny.
  • The Paperwork Primarch unable to do paperwork, truly a horrible fate.
  • @GhostBear3067
Sicarius: "Why are you trying to pick up a flimsy? We have servants for that." Guilliman: "No one in this miserable galaxy understands me."
  • Sicarius: I, CATO SICARIUS, THE BEST SWORDSMAN OF ULTRAMAR, HAVE MASTERED THE ART OF HUMOUR LIKE EVERY OTHER ART, AND DOUBT YOU CAN TEACH ME ANYTHING, BUT I, CATO SICARIUS, GREATEST HERO OF MCCRAGGE, WILL OBEDIENTLY LISTEN TO WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY MY PRIMARCH Guilliman: Now I understand Calgar, that poor miserable bastard...
  • I like that the entire empire all think that Guilliman just sit alone in his room writing his deep thoughts and reform, while in actuality he’s thinking of a funny joke, but sadly it’s too complicated for most that only Rogal Dorn understands.
  • @hermesjrflores
It just goes to show how dehumanized space marines are in this era while in the Horus Heresy they would’ve joined on the joke with him, he must miss making jokes with his sons and brothers so much😢
  • @daniellandon6811
Somewhere.. Lorgar chuckles at Guilliman's misfortune at not being able to pick up papers
  • @Thecommander248
Just imagine how weird this must be for Space Marines, especially the Ultramarines. Your father has been in stasis for 10,000 years, you've seen his mortally wounded body, you have been psycho-indoctrinated to be humorless and completely loyal, you have fallen into the worship of the Emperor and Guilliman, and then one day he gets up and cracks the most groan worthy dad jokes of all time. It must be surreal for them.
