Thing is that the abandoned bases are far between as there is a lot of active people hiding in gold and Silver while the Newly abandoned bases are up in Champions and Masters.

Because Snipe Bases, (Which they've put back where Town hall is worth 1 star but no shield)are slim, climbing back up to meet the falling dead bases in the 2500-2900 range before the low trophy lurkers get acess to them is a very slow process
