All I can say is Ferrus would give one hell of a Russian Starfish.... If you don't know what that is then definitely don't google it Or if you did google it then help cleanse your eye balls by looking at all the candy on my Patreon : www.patreon.com/majorkill

Iron hands are like Iron warriors in reverse. A logical and mentally fit primarch leading an illogical and demented legion.
  • He didn't just break the sword he made for Fulgrim, he melted it in his hands - having full control of everything he has ever created.

I was going to use "Flesh" as a password but Google said The Flesh Is Weak. Now I have Iron Hands

“ I am leaning towards yes because it’s funny.” - majorkill That is why, I love this channel.

Don't forget that Horus even said that Ferrus was better at war than him and when told that Guilliman thought he was one of the best that he didn't feel the same about Guilliman.

Yes, this is my favourite loyalist legion. And I agree they need more lore and books
  • @Tinandel
I dunno, I can roll with the “Iron Hands actually ARE vulnerable to Chaos” thing, for one simple reason: suppressing or denying your emotions is not the same thing as not having them. A lot of times, that makes you less stable, not more.

I'm 100% about the iron hands, its unfortunate that they are so left by the wayside in terms of the lore. They have so much potential to be more than robotic killing machines. Been playing them since the start of 8th edition.

Last time I was this early Manus was a bit taller.

"They are not my hands. This fact is forgotten by my brothers -- inexplicably, it has always seemed to me. The hands are strong, to be sure, and have created great things for us all, but they are not mine. And that counts for something. They forget that the silver on my arms comes from a beast that I vanquished. It is the mark of a great evil that I ended, and yet it persists within me...I would struggle to remove it now...I will not remove the silver from my flesh because I have learned to depend on it. The fault is with my mind. I rely on the augmentation given to me by my metal gauntlets, so much so that the flesh beneath them is now little more than a distant memory...A day will come when I will strip it from me, lest I lose the power to master myself forever. Already my Legion's warriors replace their shield hands with metal in my honour, and so they too are learning to doubt the natural strength of their bodies. They must be weaned off this practice before it becomes a mania for them. Hatred of what is natural, of what is human, is the first and greatest of the corruptions. So I record it here: when the time comes, I will strip my hands of their unnatural silver. I will instruct my Legion to recant their distrust of the flesh. I will turn them away from the gifts of the machine and bid them relearn the mysteries of flesh, bone and blood. When my father's Crusade is over, this shall be my sacred task. When the fighting is done, I shall cure my Legion and myself. For if fighting is all there is, if we may never pause to reflect on what such devotion to strength is doing to us, then our compulsion will only grow." - Ferrus Manus 'Poweeeeeeeer! In a Iron Hand!" - Terry Crews, Twin Primarch brother of Ferrus Manus long foghorn blows in the distance, followed by two bell dings

"Nooooooooo ive lost all my hair.....TIME TO REBEL AGAINST THIS SCUMMY IMPERIUM" - Horus Lupercal M31.
  • @sim.frischh9781
"Oi, you got a pimple on your arm" "Dammit, meat is weak, gonna get a servo arm now" - Conversation between Iron Hands brothers
  • @MizantropMan
Well, actually... Since Ferrus raced headlong towards Istvaan V, he left behind most of his Legion. Those who got completely wiped out were his First Company, the most elite part of the Legion and warriors of the primarch's inner circle. The Legion splintered after becoming leaderless (since both Ferrus and Legion elite went *poof*) and various elements of it took a stand against traitors in many places, most notable being the resistance of Shadrak Meduson of the Iron 10th against Sons of Horus, those who answered Guilliman's call to join Imperium Secundus and the Shattered Legions warband.

The reason emotional suppression made the Iron Hand's weak to chaos. Was instead of releasing said emotions, they bottled them. Like a capacitor, all that suppressed emotion became like beacons in the Warp. So no matter how much strength of will many had, none could resist that much daemon attention.
  • @Interrobang212
Ah yes, the legion/chapter that everyone forgets existed unless Istvaan comes up.
  • @BlackWolf1589
ferrus manus took the role of that one gunnut black guy who always die first because vulkan was technically immortal
  • Iron Hands. Claims to be completely logical. Holds a petty as Hell grudge against the Raven Guard and Salamanders for falling back from the trap at the Dropsite Massacre, despite them also saying Ferrus was illogical in running into said trap.
