Hey guys, as pointed out, we missed some wording on the Dimensional Corridor stratagem. It can't be used on a Monolith that didn't start on the board that turn. So no Deepstriking the Monolith in that turn then bringing something to it for 2cp as Mike mentioned, it MUST start on the board.

I would just like to thank this channel for the very short sponsor ads. I've noticed a lot of creators now like to spend 5-10 minutes on their sponsor ads and they are punished by me by skipping the ad and refusing to have anything to do with the sponsor. So very short sponsors is greatly appreciated.

I think everyone's going to go for canoptek court because its so strong, but THIS is my favourite detachment - most fun
-
GreyCrons are here! Time to lock my Grey Knights in a sound proof box, so I can't hear their cries, while I finish my monolith
-
Are you guys looking forward to teleporting your units everywhere with this detachment? what units are you most excited to use in the Hypercrypt Legion?
-
12:35 I think the monolith has to be on the battlefield on the start of the turn to be eligible for this stratagem. So you cannot deep strike the monolith, teleport units to it, and then charge
-
dornit, did my first batlle friday with Hypercrypt, should have watched this vid for some pointers and ideas. thnx for the overview guys 😊
-
Another great video 🙏 This detachment gets around the Transcedent C’Tan’s major weakness in the index, which was being Night Spinner’d and not able to advance / teleport - love it 👌
-
Run this twice with double ctan and no monolith - it’s still very good
-
As far as i understand, the strategem to charge out of the monolith requires the monolith to have been on the board since the start of the turn. So you cannot deepstrike the monolith and immediately have a unit charge out of it
-
Quick addendum. Ctan can't have enhancements. Also, I feel we aren't factoring in the size of the monolith when we talk about it deep striking. You aren't getting it in the enemies backfield until later game, as its huge.

I agree that Imotek is a key part of the detachment build. Honestly I could just see running him solo and having him babysit the objective. Idk if I’d run lychguard, but something id seriously consider is sma skorpekh lord w 6 friends as a hammer unit. Also I’d take a look at the doom scythe with this detachment. You can redeploy it wherever you need it to be, take advantage of direct LOS shooting, could hit it with a 4++ in a pinch, and you just pick it up each turn so you arent having to deal with the janky flying rules.

Wow this channel has been amazing i really needa get the codex and just figure some more stufff out . I played like 10 years ago used tyranids and i remeber getting beat by necrons so now that im older i can finally play them . Im like super new again i totally forgot how to play so its all a learning curve the painting part has just been taking up my time these last few months . So anyway . Whats yalls opinion . I really wanta play the tesseract vault . I just think that model looks amazing but i also dont wanta suck at the game . Its like 180 bucks
-
is Szeras lost in this detachment?? or would there be better options??
-
Can the monolith grab units out of engagement range?
-
This detachment specifically puts things into strategic reserves so can you use deepstrike after putting them into strategic reserves cause the core rules specifically states they are different things
-
As Black Templar player, this detachment is a nightmare to play against.
-
So, when you take that enhancement to get RP in reserve, would you get 2 D3 if you pulled a Reanimator up too? 🤣
-
I actually don't think you need a Monolith in this detachment. Sure, it will lock you out from three and a half stratagems, but only one of those is a reason to take a Monolith (the charging one). But then again, I plan to take a Monolith in every detachment, so the point is moot to me.
