I would just think about your chickens seeing any light through the night might throw them off their rhythm. My solar lights stay on all through the night. Just a thought!

Hi Janey
Please Paint your chicken coop mesh Black just like Robbie from painted his coop its looks good and transparent -
The more herbs you plant around your chickens the better. Mint basil. Keep pests disease and smell down and great for your chickens
-
A shade garden with a bunch of different coral bells/astilbe/& hostas would look gorgeous back there.
-
Your voice overs are very natural, engaging and compliment your videos very well. A nice touch! πΊπ¨π¦

Poor Monty, so curious about the chicks! Perhaps they can meet and grow up together and become besties!!! They can free-range on the property, keep the bugs under control; Monty can watch over them and coral them back to their coop for the evening! (Repeat, tomorrow...).
-
Janie I saw someone on YouTube paint.their hardware cloth black and it made the hardware cloth disappear. Just a small roller so much of an improvement.
-
Chickens need at least 14 hours of light a day to produce eggs so the lights will be handy in the wintertime when the daylight hours are less. We turn a light on in our coop in the morning and in the evening to help add to those light hours that are needed. They still go back to the coop to roost even with the light on and then we turn the light off when we do our final rounds to check on them at night.

Love the chicken coop, pots, wreath and solar lights - what a precious area! I agree that a paved area will enhance the chicken coop entrance. Thank you for sharing the concert - wonderful to see so many young people and their musical talent!
-
Both my daughters played in orchestra. Violin and viola, I remember -when they played twinkle twinkle.β¨ after years of playing it is worth the effort πΌπ

I think that the voiceover is great! I prefer that with the video of the tasks shown at normal speed to a lengthy description on camera followed by a super sped-up video!
-
I love solar lights- I have them all over my property...I have had really great luck with the ones off of Amazon!
-
If that solar panel isnβt getting enough sun you can always put it on the roof and just feed the wire through the hardware cloth.
-
The paver patio in front of the chicken coop would look good if it were the same as the floor in the greenhouse and the pathway in the front of your house. Yes? Love everything Janey!!
-
"Welcome back to OUR garden? Now that Jason is a full participant? Love, you , Janie you do great interviews..
-
The pots look great in front of the coop. I noticed the one on the left is on a bit of a slant. You might want to level it out a bit by putting a little bit of mulch on the left side under the pot to make it level. Everything looks great.
-
Who knew a chicken coop could be such an attractive addition to your garden. Janey knew!
I love watching you transform your blank slate into the garden of your dreams. Thanks for sharing your ideas. You inspire me. -
LOL.....next up at the chicken coop....doorknocker! Poor Monty desperately wants to play with the chickens. Everything is looking incredible!
-
I just love the combination of plants you used in your pots! You always do such a great job.

Bravo! Bravo! Congratulations to Sadie! A fun project, the chicken coop! It's like a playhouse. Can I come and play??π
