Lyrics

Cut my life into pieces
This is my last resort
Suffocation, no breathing
Don't give a fuck if I cut my arm bleeding
This is my last resort
Cut my life into pieces
I've reached my last resort
Suffocation, no breathing
Don't give a fuck if I cut my arm bleeding
Do you even care if I die bleeding?
Would it be wrong, would it be right
If I took my life tonight?
Chances are that I might
Mutilation out of sight
And I'm contemplating suicide
'Cause I'm losing my sight, losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Losing my sight, losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
I never realized I was spread too thin
'Til it was too late, and I was empty within
Hungry, feeding on chaos and living in sin
Downward spiral, where do I begin?
It all started when I lost my mother
No love for myself and no love for another
Searching to find a love upon a higher level
Finding nothing but questions and devils
'Cause I'm losing my sight, losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Losing my sight, losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Nothing's alright, nothing is fine
I'm running and I'm crying
I'm crying, I'm crying
I'm crying, I'm crying
I can't go on living this way
Cut my life into pieces
This is my last resort
Suffocation, no breathing
Don't give a fuck if I cut my arm bleeding
Would it be wrong, would it be right
If I took my life tonight?
Chances are that I might
Mutilation out of sight
And I'm contemplating suicide
'Cause I'm losing my sight, losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Losing my sight, losing my mind
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine
Nothing's alright, nothing is fine
I'm running and I'm crying
I can't go on living this way
Can't go on
Living this way
Nothing's alright

Every time someone replies to this comment I’ll come back and listen to this masterpiece
  • As a teen I felt the original, angry and full of pain. As an adult I feel this one, broken and full of sorrow. Truly a beautiful piece.
  • The original is the teen angst and rage. This version is the adult depression and the desperation to get out of it. Both are incredible

Got diagnosed with StageIV cancer 09/22. Lost 2/3 of my tongue, 96 lymph nodes in my neck, 6wks of chemo & radiation that lasted thru 01/23. Honestly, I’m so tired. This song truly does help. Thank you, Ronnie.
  • @dannywaterboy
The orignal had the anger and the teenage angst, this expresses the sadness and depression. Quite perfect in my eyes.
  • @Stegge1985
Papa Roach saved lives back then. I hope this version will be heard by the ones who need it now. You are not alone
  • @bobgargiulo802
WOW! Props to Papa Roach for writing this song. Props to Falling In Reverse for reimagining it into a masterpiece that tore at my soul!
  • @rybread5363
Someone else said it perfectly. The original is the anger and the reimagined is the sadness/depression. You can feel how powerful this song is in BOTH versions 💛💛
  • @eeyore6802
All of their Reimagined/Revamped versions have always been amazing! These versions always showcase Ronnie’s wide range talent. 😊❤
  • @TraceguyRune
I never imagined this song could be made into something beautiful
  • @ZacharyHarpel
Every time Ronnie screams "NOTHING IS FINE!" it hits me in the feels. I relate to it so much 🖤
  • @cierra8110
I love how this actually showcases Ronnie’s vocals. His range is insane. He’s so talented.
  • @WillowGypsy13
This is magic. I was a teenager when the original was released.I am now 40 and this has me crying like a baby. It captures the emotions of the last 25 years perfectly. Any adult now that grew up in the late 80s and 90s know exactly what I'm talking about. We were feral!
  • Those with sadness and depression and anger knows truly how this song feels :/ it hits our hearts, our body, our mind. It hits our screams that we've been suffering inside when we sing with him. He shows us that we're not fine and sings it for us whether we can or cant with him, he bleeds for us in this song, put on a battle for us. Everywhere is crashing around us like the buildings and we're all at a stand still crying and breaking, nothing can beat this song with him singing and the old papa roach version. Both tells a different story and yet the same. My heart breaks with you but ill remain strong with you too. I thank you for singing such a difficult song and making this video. ❤
  • This was the song that started the love of Papa Roach’s music and now 20 years later this song hits in an entirely different way. So much raw emotion. I absolutely love both versions that are set to two separate times in my life. Thank you to both bands for making music that touch so many people.
  • @_Cathrinemj
I love how this song went from teenager angst and anger into adult sadness and reality. Honestly, as a former emo-kid, this version brings me such joy. This is one of the rare cases where I like the cover more than the original!
  • @bradyoungman4466
This was my wife’s favorite song before she passed. Ronni kills it. I’m glad she’s not in pain anymore. Rip Kayla. Fuck cancer. I miss you to the moon and back 😘
  • @lynn6851
Ronnie Radke took this song and made it his own. He is so musically inclined. You can feel this song through his voice. To me that is a true artist.
  • @aricosplays2963
This song hits different when sung with this level of emotion
  • @Wheatboy0619
This man does not miss….. I would pay an obscene amount of money for a full album of reimagined masterpieces like this…..
