Sobriety Sunday's is a pilot project initiated to shed light on stories of recovery throughout the Muslim community. On this episode Abdirahman travels to San Diego, California to meet with Mahamud to interview him on his recovery journey. As they get deep into this episode they get emotional reminiscing on their addiction and how lucky they were to get sober.

    This episode definitely hit different. I appreciate how genuine & honest you both are. This is truly inspirational, not only for people facing addiction but to people who’s loved ones/friends who are dealing with addictions. I now know how I can be supportive to anyone I may know who may be dealing with an addiction! Thank you so much, our community needs this.
