Yancy Butler played Witchblade on the TV show. Recently, Yancy has co-starred in lots of fun low budget B-movies.
In the 90's comics, The Witchblade was possessed by an NYPD detective named Sarah Pazzini. The Witchblade is a supernatural gantlet that gives a person powers to fight against evil. In the series that I show here, journalist Alex Underwood comes into possession of the Witchblade.
There's also been a Witchblade anime series, a manga, and a novel.
Astro City is a great series. It was created by Kurt Busiek, Brent Anderson, and Alex Ross. Astro City started in 1995.
Outcast is a great series. It was created by Robert Kirkman. He created The Walking Dead comics in 2003. Outcast started in 2014. The Outcast TV show lasted for 2 seasons, from 2016 to 2018.

This was fantastic and I really enjoyed the video, max! ASTRO CITY is one of the greatest comic book runs of all time. It's up there with Moore's SWAMP THING and James Robinson's STARMAN. I actually haven't read any WITCHBLADE comics and I've never seen the show (although I have heard of it). With that being said, the concept of Witchblade is a cool idea and I've heard that the show is a lot of fun. I plan to check it out soon.
