After almost 4 years of alternative facts and bold faced lies, I'm hyponotised by this mans honesty.

"I wanted to date" is the most human thing I've ever heard a presidential candidate say.

Admittedly, when Mayor Pete first came on the public scene, I liked him, but was skeptical because of this very issue. This answer is BRILLIANT and HONEST and I'm so very glad that Buttigieg broke it down to make it all make sense.

A politician that actually answers questions??? What???? Like him or not, we should all demand answers from our elected officials - with Pete we don't have to demand, just ask.

I'm a conservative but this guy impresses me with how genuine he is.

The foot patrols are a super real thing. I live on the NW side of SB. We are a very diverse neighborhood and the Police's "Armadillo" (big ass swat type vehicle) is currently two blocks from my house to help curb crime. It blew my mind the first time I had an officer walking down the street just casually walk up and introduce himself. He was really nice and explained that it was a new initiative by the dept in order to get people to have known, trusted officers that they would feel confident to call on if anything every came up.
