The son of a fisherman, in the isolated town of Tignish, Prince Edward Island, Jay grew up surrounded by a large family and rural community of pickers and singers steeped in bluegrass, country and folk.
Now 2 decades later and on the other side of the country with 3 studio albums under his belt, Jay joins forces with his second cousin Shyanne Mae Gaudet and some of Vancouver's finest musicians on this rendition of Conway and Loretta's classic song You’re the Reason our Kids are Ugly.
