So she's training her puppy to hunt birds, then she stops with it to se some birds, with no leash, it goes after them, and she executes it. Wow. What a piece of work. And her whole, "well, that's farm life" schtick is BS. I grew up on a farm. We generally took our time with our animals, and didn't leave them loose if they weren't properly trained and responsive. What a pathetic excuse.

As someone who grew up training dogs to hunt, you don't even start the hunting training until they are at least 2. Until then focus on the basics, like self control, coming to you when you call, etc. Since she has confessed, she needs to be charged with animal cruelty.

As a lifelong South Dakotan, I can safely say that our Garden Noem (as I like to call her) is a disgrace to our state.

What boggles my mind is how the idea of rehoming the dog never seemed to cross her mind. She just went straight to killing it! That is psychotic.

Yesterday I Googled and then donated to 2 shelters in Pierre SD ( where Kristi lives) saying : “ This donation is in memory of a puppy dog called Cricket and his friend a goat. Let Kristi Noem know. “ Pass it on.

She killed the puppy instead of finding her a new home or paying a nominal surrender fee at a shelter. That's pure fucking evil.

He forgot to mention that the goat was a family pet, and Noem's daughter asked where the goat was when she got home from school that day.

She was training the dog to hunt birds and then she got upset when it attacked chickens. Doesn't she realize that chickens are birds! Then she shot her goat because she hadn't had it neutered! I wonder if she shot the 3 horses they'd had for 25 years when she decided they had to go. She should be arrested for animal cruelty and forbidden from having any animals.
