  • No BS interviewer trying to steal the spotlight. Just a piece on MJK. Simple and effective. Well done Revolver.

"You either win or you learn" - I'll say this to myself every minute of the day from now on
  • @nieze
when Maynard is allowed to just be himself without the ties to his previous successes, he is powerfully humble.
  • Tool fans waiting impatiently for new tool album. Maynard: Making fine wine
  • 9:00- end: I’m a 39yr old mother, this video is 2yrs old, and Maynard James Keenan just gave me the Dad Talk I never had, but always needed. Thanks Maynard.

Why can’t YouTube recommend gems like this series?

After watching the whole 4 episodes, I wish all those immature Tool fans would understand why a new album has taken so long. The guy keeps busy doing stuff. You never saw him checking his phone... Those final words are really inspirational.
  • 3:04 Careful there champ, you're only crushing the throat of one of the greatest vocalists of a generation.
  • @pneh
Round of applause for Revolver for bring us these short films. More please!
  • He makes me wanna be a better person . Big influence in my life . Gave up drinking and some other bad habits because of self growth and realization of who I am and can be. I was stale in life not challenging myself. Ty Maynard between you and Mike from Yob I feel more comfortable in my own skin. Mental illness is as real as it gets thanks to some artists that touch on this and open the door to new visions of self reflection. I was scared to death of myself under a microscope it's not easy to kill your ego but it's very rewarding in the end (WORK) it takes work.
  • Maynard James Keenan, A person you can look up to without idolizing, someone who speaks the truth, from the heart and doesn't sugar coat it. You are alone and no one owes you anything. simple and concise.
  • I wonder what its like to choke out one of your musical hero's? As I get older, I find myself realizing that my Hero's are just normal people doing normal things. Its humbling.
  • He's exactly right about learning. I remember one of my music teachers in college saying, "as soon as you think you're good at something, you're done. You might as well give it up and sell your instrument. You should always always always be learning."

That moment you realize you not a tool or a a perfect circle fan but a Maynard james keenan fan!!
  • His passion, drive and determination are so inspiring. Maynard is simply brilliant.
  • It’s funny how I grew up with his music but never really looked into anyone behind it until now. Then you realize he’s such a dad.
  • Wow, I would never imagine Maynard being a juijitsu badass. I respect him even more after watching this.
