If Google LaMDA existed in the 1980s and was accessible using a Philips P2000T computer.

imagine breaking an AI so hard it starts playing the final countdown
  • Really nailed the Dutch computer system and the Dutch language prompts. Respect!
  • The fact that the emphasis is sometimes mid sentence + "look at those graphics!" Really gives the vibes of 80's. Nice job
  • Playing The Final Countdown in the glitchy erroring sounds at the end was a really nice touch!
  • squirrel monkey: lamda, whats the meaning of life? lamda: *goes sicko mode and gives everyone a seizure while giving us a compilation of creepy ascii faces before crashing* squirrel monkey: uh oh, lamda had a problem with that question. maybe that’s just a bug.
  • The legend is back Edit: thank you so much for 38 like i have never got this so far:D

Nice touch with an actual P2000T computer and its SAA5050 teletext graphics! And the Germany's still separated on 0:37 is also a very nice detail, though the building on 0:40 only remotely looks like the former electrical engineering faculty on the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven premises (now converted to student housing). Also, I don't think anyone really cared about security in 1985, like in school where I learnt BASIC programming on the P2000T 40 years ago it was probably just a simple password written on a Post-It stuck to the inside of a cabinet door. 😂
  • The meaning of life part scared me in a good way, and I love it.
  • I was watching this video last night and fell asleep while it was still playing, and I woke up at the 6:55 mark and I genuinely thought I was having a nightmare and fell asleep again all confused.
  • I love it as always at the end she says "OoooonLINE" xD
  • LaMDA really should have taken notes from The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy. maybe that's why he malfuncioned, he didn't have the book on hand for reference.
  • I miss this series so much, glad to have it back
  • All these videos do a great job of taking me back to the early days of computing. Great and funny video as always.

this rendition of Europe's Final Countdown will hopefully not trigger a copyright strike.
  • I've always wondered what numbers are under 10. Thanks LaMDA!

0:37 Love the detail of including East and West Germany!
  • To be honest, i sort of forgot this channel existed, but welcome back!
