Re village mercenaries mode drove me crazy all for a lightsaber looking knife

I thought the sound effect of bones breaking in the base game was crunchy but after watching some of the content a couple of hours ago... those Hunk neck snaps. JESUS! Also, I love the remix of Hunk's music from RE2 in it. ALSO ALSO... It 25 minutes past midnight for me in the UK and still no update on Steam. Hopefully it drops soonish (EDIT: friend just confirmed it as dlc on PS5 and says it's too much fun)

If I understand what was said at the start of the video, Mercenaries won’t show up on the menu until you’ve beaten the main game? Just wondering because I haven’t beaten it yet and don’t want to be confused later if Mercenaries doesn’t show up lol
