Pikmin 2 - Throwing Pikmin and killing enemies in the Piklopedia

This is an Gecko code made by PikHacker that you can find here with an explaniation of how to set it up as well:    • The Piklopedia but with Normal Pikmin  

This code basically allows you to throw pikmin in the Piklopedia at enemies and to even kill them on here as well! Decided to show it off here of what enemy will do in the Piklopedia just for the curious people out there when they wonder about that. Hope you will all enjoy the video!

Here what I gathered from recording this video that of what I found interesting (PikHacker did found these first but just thought I describe these as well just to be consistent):

Bulborb Larva: 4:03 They crash the game if they drop nectar, but other than that. They are fine to kill.

Armored Cannon Beetle Larva: 8:19 They can't be attacked or killed inside of the Piklopedia, it's most likely due to protect them of getting killed by their own boulders.

Decorated Cannon Beetle: 9:32 Same thing as the Aromored Cannon Beetle, can't be killed and most likely like that so that they won't kill themselves with their own boulder.

Iridescent Flint Beetle: 12:51 Fine getting hit once but after the first hit, they crash the game due to them trying to drop nectar.

Iridescent Glint Beetle: 12:19 Fine getting hit once but after the first hit, they crash the game due to them trying to drop nectar.

Doodlebug: 14:01 Crash the game on the first hit by them trying to drop nectar.

Ravenous Whiskerpillar: 15:50 Oddly enough they can't be killed inside of the Piklopedia for some strange reason. They are considered dead due to me pressing the Z button to bitter spray them after letting the pikmin to hit them for a bit. They can only be killed if you bitter spray them and then let the pikmin attack them to kill them. The cause for them dying could be that they usually don't "die" outside of the Piklopedia but instead lay on the floor when they are defeated.

Careening Dirigibug: 20:20 They can't be killed in the Piklopedia. You can knock them onto the floor just fine but you can't deal any damage to them. Could be that they are invincible to not be killed by their own bombs but they couldn't hurt themselves in the first place since they are flying.

Honeywisp: 33:25 Crash the game due to them dropping nectar, but if they drop mitites instead then they won't crash the game.

Mamuta: 33:33 Doesn't burying pikmin but could be that they are placed in an area that doesn't allow pikmin to be buried.

Pellet Posy: 34:34 The only enemy/object that can be picked up inside of the enemy section of the Piklopedia, only problem is that if a pikmin tries to carry a pellet posy. It will crash the game due to no ship or onion to carry the onion to.


Every Candypop Bud: 30:32 - 31:31 They all crash the game because of them trying to spawn a pikmin seed but they can't do that inside of the Piklopedia for some reason.

Pileated Snagret???: 43:53 There's nothing wrong about him being with pikmin in the Piklopedia, the only strange thing about him is that him being able to appear underground in this one part of land for some odd reason. Just thought I included that part in the video.

Segmented Crawbster: 50:28 Never decides to roll onto the pikmin. Could be that there isn't a captain there to roll at but not too sure on that.

    I'm assuming since they want the piklopedia to load quicklly, a lot of features are disabled or handled differently within it. Like, nectar/seeds/etc don't spawn, and the game is trying to force them to spawn but can't due to something hardcoded (or them just being not-loaded normally). Behaviors like death animations, and pikmin noises are disabled for similar reasons is my assumption.

    You know how pikpik carrots despawn and rott after it being there for too long? If these pikmin in piklo dont despawn can you spanw unlimited pikmin in the piklopedia
