2020-08-23に共有
Hear world renowned DCC researcher, Dr Lynn Paul, from Caltech USA, speaking to parents and friends about agenesis of the corpus callosum (ACC) at Connections 2017 in Melbourne. Learn how research helps us to understand the impacts on social cognition and other psychosocial areas. What are the challenges? Dr Paul is the International Psychology Advisor to AusDoCC.

The corpus callosum is the major connecting tissue joining the 2 halves of the brain. Some people are born missing part of all of their corpus callosum and are described as having a disorder of the corpus callosum or DCC. Impacts range from mild to severe and there are many associated conditions.

CONNECTIONS conferences are for people with a DCC, family, friends and professionals and are held every 2 years in Australia. Check the AusDoCC website for more details. www.ausdocc.org.au
