All I can say is that I did my part. I was there on opening weekend and thought it was awesome. I can't wait for Part II. If Costner is not able to complete the story it will be a massive cinematic tragedy.
-
I wanted to see it on Sunday. I checked every movie theater around Phoenix and it was packed at every showing. I might see it on the 4th or this weekend. Not saying Phoenix alone would make it a $100 million opening, but lots of people here went to see it

People keep saying Yellowstone is a western… it’s not. It’s a story with characters wearing cowboys hats. The core story of Yellowstone could just as easily be set in… Hawaii… point being, just because 12 million people watch Yellowstone, doesn’t mean 12 million people are down for a real western with a 3 hour run time.
-
Costner not doing part two of the final season was very shitty.
-
WeLL Horizon is A Much Better Movie than That Quite Place day one. 🧐😁👍👍
-
Not everyone has Paramount+ and lots of old folks don't stream. But when CBS showed the edited Yellowstone reruns with commercials, it still pulled 5 million viewers per night.
-
Yeah people watch Yellowstone AT HOME that’s different than going out to see a 3+ hour movie
-
It was 100M for 2 films part 1 & part 2
-
All I know is I had no idea this movie even existed until this video. I love westerns. I’ll go check it out!
-
The Bear moved into Yellowstone to steal their Picnic Basket
-
He should have made it as a Netflix or Amazon miniseries. Cinematic Westerns haven’t had an audience in decades.
-
In Tampa Bay all AMC showings have been almost sold out whenever I check, but it’s the smallest theaters at AMC.
-
People need to give this movie a chance. It's a very good movie. Good story 👏. If you r a western fan u will love it. I think part 2, which comes out in August will be much better.
-
Someone didn't learn from Waterworld....
-
I went to see Horizon...loved it. I love Yellowstone too, but these are wildly different projects. Horizon is a traditional type of western, which is why I went to see it. I am not turned off my off-screen drama and will still looking forward to last part of Yellowstone
-
I’ll be seeing the film again this weekend.
-
I don't know "Kevin" making a "western" should be for me enough of a spark to kindle my interest regardless of any trailers. Yet, I've lost in general the interest of going to the theater. I blame the Disney (Starwars/Marvel-joking, well sort of). After their declined in quality, I feel in general the cost and hassle of going to a theater is just not worth it.
-
It's 50 million for Chapter 1 and it's 50 million for Chapter 2 n he's currently filming Chapter 3 since May 13th regardless what you all think the 4 horizon movies will be made thanks to Kevin Costner and his willingness to achieve his dream project.
-
it had bad marketing because i didnt know it existed until this video.

So I’m a huge fan of Kevin Costner westerns going back to Dances with Wolves. I did go see Horizon and I liked it. Good acting, beautiful scenery and I definitely want to see what happens next. Downside…way too long for a movie. 3 hours…plus I have to go watch part 2?!?! I think this would have been a great miniseries. Break it down to 60 minute episodes instead of two 3 hour movies. I’ll give it a 7 out of 10. It’s probably be a better watch at home where you can pause it to take breaks.
