All I can say is that I did my part. I was there on opening weekend and thought it was awesome. I can't wait for Part II. If Costner is not able to complete the story it will be a massive cinematic tragedy.
-
People keep saying Yellowstone is a western… it’s not. It’s a story with characters wearing cowboys hats. The core story of Yellowstone could just as easily be set in… Hawaii… point being, just because 12 million people watch Yellowstone, doesn’t mean 12 million people are down for a real western with a 3 hour run time.
-
Costner not doing part two of the final season was very shitty.
-
He should have made it as a Netflix or Amazon miniseries. Cinematic Westerns haven’t had an audience in decades.
-
I wanted to see it on Sunday. I checked every movie theater around Phoenix and it was packed at every showing. I might see it on the 4th or this weekend. Not saying Phoenix alone would make it a $100 million opening, but lots of people here went to see it

Not everyone has Paramount+ and lots of old folks don't stream. But when CBS showed the edited Yellowstone reruns with commercials, it still pulled 5 million viewers per night.
-
WeLL Horizon is A Much Better Movie than That Quite Place day one. 🧐😁👍👍
-
Yeah people watch Yellowstone AT HOME that’s different than going out to see a 3+ hour movie
-
I won't support it only because of how he ditched and ruined Yellowstone for everyone. Yellowstone was literally the top of his career and he screwed it up for selfish reasons. If he would have worked around Yellowstone I garentee it would have had huge support!
-
It was 100M for 2 films part 1 & part 2
-
All I know is I had no idea this movie even existed until this video. I love westerns. I’ll go check it out!
-
People need to give this movie a chance. It's a very good movie. Good story 👏. If you r a western fan u will love it. I think part 2, which comes out in August will be much better.
-
The Bear moved into Yellowstone to steal their Picnic Basket
-
Someone didn't learn from Waterworld....
-
I went to see Horizon...loved it. I love Yellowstone too, but these are wildly different projects. Horizon is a traditional type of western, which is why I went to see it. I am not turned off my off-screen drama and will still looking forward to last part of Yellowstone
-
So sad, cause I saw it in theaters opening night and loved it.. and it left me excited for PT2. So much work went into this Saga. I think the problem in todays cinema now is marvel ruined the movie experience. Everyone seems to want instant gratification, with action, humor etc. And the fact that most films hit streaming services within a couple months of release. I grew up in Apache country and love the history good and bad of it and Pt. 1 really grabbed my attention, especially Costners attention to detail, story telling and the cinematography.. which is a huge part of the story as well. It's just beautiful.
-
In Tampa Bay all AMC showings have been almost sold out whenever I check, but it’s the smallest theaters at AMC.
-
I’ll be seeing the film again this weekend.
-
It's 50 million for Chapter 1 and it's 50 million for Chapter 2 n he's currently filming Chapter 3 since May 13th regardless what you all think the 4 horizon movies will be made thanks to Kevin Costner and his willingness to achieve his dream project.

I saw Horizon this past Friday, and I really liked it. It was well done and interesting. I've never seen Yellowstone, but I like westerns a great deal. I am looking forward to Part 2 in August. I do think a 3 hour western is a lot to ask people to sit through. I do feel this will find an audience when it streams and people can take breaks.
