Loyalists from traitor legions are the most interesting characters in the setting, and it's a goddamn shame that GW didn't contrive a way for some of them to still be around.

Stringstorm should make a song about Dantioch's unwavering stand on Lesser Damantine, or following the development of his friendship with Alexis and eventual death. Something like Rylanor's song. It would kick ass so hard Perturabo would look cuddly.

In the new book the son of the forest, Lion El Johnson mentions him by name and how he saved him, the fact that his name will be returned to history brings a tear to my eye, I got emotional too bro

Dantioch's will was so unbreakable that even Perty or Morty would envy him. Even tohugh he possibly doomed the Milky Way, he was such a gigachad. B) And I won't lie, the part where you described Dantioch's death moved me, even though I already knew about it. Kudos Majorkill. ;-/

This Man was one of the greatest Legends the Astartes ever had, be his memory as steadfast like the loyalty and Honor in his Heart was, to be never forgotten by the once he saved.
