First sorry for my bad english X"D this is my theory: So deku lost his memories due to a battle (maybe all might died, idk). After that deku doesn't like his old self anymore and everyone (like bakugou and uraraka) want the old deku back because at uraraka's and bakugou's scene, the lyric said "bless me with a smile" bla bla something like that. But... In the other side, todoroki doesn't want deku to remember anything (his memories with his friends and hero stuff) so todo can have deku all to himself and guarantee deku's safety because deku always harm himself (in the video we can see deku ignoring todo and run to the battle). We can see todo jealous because deku has many friends too (at begining scene where todo saw photo of deku, uraraka, and iida in deku's book)

I love this vocaloid singer so much she's amazing. The story is different tho. In the original story a girl finds an old photograph of a young man and falls in love I think? But her brother knows that the man is actually her grandfather who died a long time ago. In this version it seems deku suffers from memory loss after a battle or something.

Okay, so the story is basically this : Deku lost his memories, and the first one to see him awake is Todoroki. And from what is implied, Todoroki most probably knows the most of what happened, seeing that he was there before Deku got into battle and begging for him to come back. Todoroki refused to tell him what happened, in fear of breaking his heart, as All Might most likely died in battle. Uraraka is probably smiling and hiding her feelings, as she was there in several scenes where she looked back to the past, case in point the photos, and wished Deku to smile again like the old days. Bakugou has the most melancolic expression out of everyone. This may represent his regret, his remorse, and what he wants : The Old Deku coming back. He believed that he would, as his 'smile doesn't break easily'. When he smiled, he realised that doing so may be useless as Todoroki is there to prevent it, and he probably gave the picture in the book to Deku as a last resort to bring back his memories. Now, a scene shows that Todoroki burned Deku's uniform and the picture. So this may imply that Todoroki REALLY didn't want Deku to remember, and to 'protect' him. He shows Mania, instead of Eros. This was a resort to keep his smile from breaking and so he won't remember All Might's death. However, in doing so he is also erasing his (Deku's) entire ambition as a hero and his most precious memories in school of his friends. Now, the cover shows Todoroki smiling while holding a photo, which can be interpreted as his knowledge of what happened. This is what I gathered from everything I've seen, from the video to comments. okay Todoroki, I can't say if what he done is correct, but I can't blame him. Still though, this is not what Deku wants. Todoroki, come on man!

Okay well maybe Todo has his own reasons to be sad and keep Deku safe but not​ letting him remember anything about his past is really wrong because Deku has all these other friends that will miss him include his mom probably as we can see at the end were Todo covers Deku's face so he couldn't remember his friends and what happened in the battle with All Might and burnt the photo of him and All Might but since Todo was probably the only one there to see what happened I think that's why he's doing all these things to Deku but I think he deserve to remember friends at the lease

This is so sad and messed up. Damn I had been reading too much fluff lately that I am angst-deprived. Thank you for this! The remorse of Bakugo, and the silent sadness of Uraraka who just smiles through all this... Ouch
