This game will always hold a special place in my library for being just the best game to sit and kill some zeds with friends

Fun fact, Endless mode technically isn't endless. At wave 255 it is possible to win, so in a way HoE beating endless is truely beating KF2.

"His new main squeeze, the Matriarch" Sir that's his daughter

The silver lining about the paywalled weapons is that if one person in your lobby has them, everyone in the lobby can use them. If you have a buddy or two that consistently plays the game with you, it might be worth it for one of you to buy the ultimate edition for all the weapon packs.
  • Killing Floor 2 is one of those games I’ll never delete, simply because I never know when I’ll end up playing it again. Such a good game man.

Fun fact, the Matriarch is actually the daughter of the Patriarch. It's rachel Clamely from KF1 who was an unlockable character. Loving the Killing floor love bricky! keep it up.

The microtransaction part was well said. Does open your eyes when you realize that AA studios or newly grown developers want to make better products but in turn alot more revenue to do it. People do deserve a good reward for their hard work too

Payday and Killing Floor are some of my favorite series, and I'm really surprised on how similar they are in both their style, upbringing, and managmemt. -Grungy first game with more modern sequels -Heavy emphasis on refining the first game's formula when developing the release -Microtransaction/Marketplace heavy especially in the sequel -Both got a third game too
  • @MrTheil
Love this game. Still can’t believe we’re getting a third game in this series
  • @SkyChaser-
Quick note that you can swap your perk skills in the middle of the match every different wave, so you can switch your tactics along with your weapons halfway through the game.
  • as a KF(2) fan myself, in audio options you can enable the vocals of the ost The ost are actually metal songs, which can also be found on spotify and so on most songs are made by the band: demon hunter, and the main song is fit for a king - bitter end i do have heard with vocals it can become a copy right thingy so be aware, but trust me, with vocals this game goes from 11/10 to 12/10

I like how Bricky understood that since he mentioned Deep Rock Galactic more then once, he was legally required to yell "Rock and Stone!"
  • @Zedbie
Bricky would surely enjoy some Deep Rock Galactic
  • @starkillermarex
For those that don't know, you can turn the lyrics on for the music in the audio settings. A lot of the tracks are from bands like Impending Doom and Demon Hunter

Finally someone who acknowledges the Killing floor 2 reload animations. They're satisfying and orgasmic at times

Man... Killing Floor 2 was so much fun with friends back in the day. I haven't played it in years, but getting 3 of the boys together and just going nuts for hour after hour... Honestly, probably the last game I had that gave me those old "Playing Halo/COD/[inset other FPS here] with friend for an hour that turns into crap, we stayed up all night, work is gonna SUCK today..."

I always think the most interesting part about KF2 is the lore implications that build up from the first game, purely built on worldbuilding alone. KF1's lore was basically "Mad scientist fucks a military trial up and the clones go bananas." KF2's lore takes that implication and dials it all the way to 11. Basically, the teams sent in during KF1 failed to contain the spread, but Horzine (the super evil corporation during god-knows-what) has spread globally, taking their problems with them. The world is fucked in KF2, and to make matters worse, they didn't just use The Patriarch's plans, but also the writings of a checks notes ....Thule Society Nazi who became obsessed with the occult. You may think that last part is a joke. It isn't. Volter was a nazi who did some Hellboy shit in the 40s, and we know this because of his map (Volter's Mansion) is littered with occult stuff, and also Volter has a Black Sun on his chest.

I'm really glad you mentioned the Christmas events because I've made a little personal tradition where I play Killing Floor every Christmas day. I play the game every once in a while, but I always make sure to play on Christmas day, whether it's one match or a few hours. I believe I've been doing it since 2013, and I'm really looking forward to continuing that tradition in Killing Floor 3 😄

Fun fact: if you are fighting the king flesh pound and he is firing his lazer, if you two are on level ground.... just crouch, just take a knee and you dodge it
