  • Tbh the balloons look more like they have an embryo in them rather than guts, it might be some sorta respawn system like if the player falls off the map a ballon floats up and allows them to respawn however something has gone seriously wrong so they don’t respawn.

For anyone who didn't wanna watch the whole video: the Cat fucked around and found out
  • If they ever put a "Good ending" to this game, it would be nice to have a final normal race with all the NPCs. Showing us how the game could have been without the horror stuff.

You know, it'd be kinda sick if the full version was both a proper game, with the same off-putting elements, and it still had those horror elements, just only if you explore. Basically, an actual racing game where exploration leads to the true game.
  • Some Trivia: The little girl is named “Stompy” The bunny is named “Patches” (My beloved) The mouse is named “Tinsel” The Sheep’s name is unknown so I’ll call them “Wooly” The strange Black Figure in the final level is “The Man In The Garage” The black figure seen in a drawing in the CONGRATULATIONS room is most likely a different being from The Man In The Garage. They also guided the Sheep, “Wooly”, through the TEST ROOM so I’ll call them “Mr. Friendly” There are 2 Levels hidden in the files that most likely serve as a taste for what the full version will have! (A Hell Level that I’ll call “Lava Towers” and a Christmas Winter Wonderland level I’ll call “Winter WonderLand”)

Most of the graphics and music are well made and convincing, but the horror elements don't seem to follow any sort of theme, and don't really seem integrated that well either. They just seem to be here for shock value. The pieces don't build on each other or connect, leaving the whole to feel unsatisfying and disjointed. There's a kart crash, seizures, embryos in the balloons, a visually and sonically obnoxious murder scene, and a hidden hell level? How are those connected at all? Why are they in a kart racer? Is there intention behind their inclusion beyond just being scary or shocking? My advice for the dev(s) would be to make the game less linear and/or try to focus on a specific theme for the horror elements more rather than tossing in seemingly random and disconnected shocking imagery. If each track is a dream, are all of these representative of fears, anxieties, or trauma the dreamer has? If it's a fake retro game made by a fictional studio/person like Crow 64 or Petscop, why did the fictional devs include the things they did? Again, the actual components, such as models and sprites, are well made, but without any intelligible theme or story or identity to connect them together, and without proper buildup and implementation of the horror elements, the whole of Kitty Kart won't really work beyond the surface level scare factor. You've got talent and skill, and the project has potential, it just needs an identity, a central idea beyond "kart racer with spooky secrets." The execution is there, but without a core idea, there won't be anything to make Kitty Kart stand out from the other low poly horror projects out there.

If this game was a Nintendo game, Miyamoto would instantly reject it before it would even pass testing because, "It copies Mario Kart 64 and lacks the Nintendo feeling, it would more likely be a pre-installed game you would find in a Windows Vista Operating System.
  • 14:35 What would happen if you hopped a bunch here? Could you hop over the spikes? Could you preserve momentum?
  • @Mintybird
If I had a nickel for every time I followed arrows in a car park and got attacked by a creature with a white face, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
  • @pastpatour
9:00 Don't scare me like that, man! I thought my notebook was frying
  • sounds like another "dead persons soul got put in the game to relive actions and death trough revenge of person related to carcrash victim oh and it's a metaphor for mental illnis and suicide danger." game. but looks good.
  • @monmakes1722
I initially kinda thought that the Congrats stage implied that a massacre happened, since the balloons are all bloody and the background music consists of people screaming in fear it made me think the game could be a story about some masochist who killed and tortured people but idk how it related to the game other than it possibly being a purgatorial hell for the killer so yeah
  • @user-cy8wo4zg9s
22:09 I think they were made in the balloons. And that's why there is a drawling of him or her in the balloon because she looks inside the balloons and saw them.
  • Maybe it’s not a sheep it’s a lamb like the expression .lamb to the slaughter. Like no matter what you do you can’t evade your inevitable death
  • Sunflower: sees somebody's head pop like a balloon Also Sunflower: Wait, were you a friend or a rival?
  • Oh! I remember manlybadasshero playing this game! But didn't watch the whole gameplay. Great video btw!
  • @Skygirl-rp4ob
Maybe I'm just missing the joke but there ain't NO way bro really thought we would believe this was an actual N64 game until the reveal
  • @KingTalion
something about the cars engine sound when going off the track reminds me of this old car based PC game I barely remember playing as a child. I had completely forgotten about it until now but I used to spend ages playing it. It had a lot of depth to it from what I remember, with different maps and objectives and features like exploding if you revved too much. I wish I could remember what it was called
  • @Ayyem93
Maybe it's because I actually grew up with an N64 and PS1 but whenever I see these fake Creepypasta games I can't help but think that they're just corny as hell
