Kaia mutating into that horrid creature, mixed in with the horrific cries of the late crew in grizzco tapes 4 make this one of my fav analog horrors.

I noticed something when we where are part where the other inkling fell into the water, the part where she Says “[unintelligable] mom” sounds like she says “I want my mom” not really lore pertinent but still really fucking disturbing.

If Splatoon was made for 16+, I think Salmon Run would have looked as dark as this. Imagine in Overtime it's not normal Salmonids who are coming after you, no.. it's the mutated bodies of Octolings and Inklings who ended up lost at sea who follow you around trying to get help or to drag you into the sea as well to become one of them, the mutated salmonid Octoling/Inkling zombies

Oh man, this makes the idea of salmonlings terrifying. Honestly, salmonlings being mutated abomintions makes much more sense then them just existing soley because they would be a cool player character.

If you look at the horrorboros you can see that they have two yellow antenna like things on their head, and if you look at Kaia you I’ll see she has two yellow hair things. I think Kaia was mutated into the horrorboros and you can still see where her hair used to be.

Idk why but the phrase “manual pharynx splitting” reminded me of a sea creature called the sarcastic fringehead, which can unhinge its jaw, I know jaw isn’t the same as pharynx, but it was just something to note

It’s interesting that she could have been turned into a Horrorboros, because the Horrorboros sounds very different from the other two Big Run bosses. The Cohozuna sounds like your typical roar, and Joe sounds like a rock and roll yell, but still kind of a roar. The Horrorboros though… it sounds like agonized screaming, or something (or someone) in pain. If Kaia truly has been mutated into a Horrorboros, then maybe those screams are her writhing in agony, even after her presumably dying due to the experimentation… a chilling thought.

I had a thought. The co-worker that was threatened had been told to have been missing TEAMMATES. The plural, not the singular. So Kaia wasn't the only one who went missing. Like you had said in the video, her story covered up the baller story, and my original thought was that the teammate in the baller had been rescued. But when I looked at a certain image (21:01), you can see a silhouette of the worker's hat. There was no inkling. It's likely that the worker in the baller had died.

You do not recognize the bodies in the water.

20:02 an example of this was the last words recorded on the CVR (cockpit voice recorder) of PSA flight 182, which were “mom, I love ya.” Spoken by the captain.

So I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE ROT….the “can’t stop breathing” did mean something

so it was (possibly) Grizzco’s fault all along? They just use youth inklings as their workers just to make a profit and without admitting their biggest secrets to the public? Even tried covering up the actual reality of the missing inkling despite being obvious that she’s dead already?

It wasn't peace @5:36 - It was 'Rest in Piece' like a ' Piece ' of something. It could be intentionally to show how poorly made/ janky the early Microsoft windows movie maker was back then, but it just stuck out to me

We need more video game analog horrors that are actually set in-universe rather than any of the haunted game nonsense

I'm surprised that no one ever mentioned how Horroboros and Megalodontia's roars sound oddly human in nature, this may be another clue to Kaia's fate.

God this series is so well made, rarely does any kind of media get me all emotional but this one had me tearing up and stuff, especially when the baller inkling made that plea to her mom. That hit so much harder than I feel like it should've
