    I was 18 back then during the Spring/Summer of 1974 when this song was popular. I met a tall blonde named Donna and Radar Love became our song. An interstate romance ensued for 6 years then ended. She ended up with a local guy in CT and I with a local gal here in OH. Through contacts I found out she died of cancer in 2007. But whenever I hear this song I remember and am back ‘there’ in time and being as I hold back tears. And Time passes...

    I saw them open for the J Giels Band in ‘74, this song never gets old, unlike me☹️ was 22 then, just out of the Army, 71 now, just out of the hospital beating cancer👍👍👍👍

    I was born in 71, my mom used to listen to this in the house in spring cleaning with every single window in the house open,and just jamming while I was outside with the friends riding big wheels! I thank my mother for the music I have in my blood today!

    I am only 72, but my taste of music keeps me alive, physicaly there is not much to laugh, but psycological I am still there. I love this music, not only from Golden Earring (my countryboys) but the whole range from hardrock to blues from the 60/70's keeps my going. I am looking forward for 87 and still can say the same.     I could not keep from speeding when this song would come on the radio back then. I had a '67 Firebird with lots of horsepower to spare. I was in the USMC. I had a tall strawberry blond girlfriend. Life was great. Sure would like to go back.

    Uk based. Takes me back to memories of a disco at a social club ,Thursday night's, 17 years old, whole life ahead ahead of me.Now in my 60's, had good time's and bad .Fight against cancer being one of them.This song brings back the good memories, innocent youth.🤗
