My Mom’s First Time At EPCOT! New Walt Disney Statue & All The Christmas 2023 Decorations

Seeing your mom explore and enjoy Epcot for the first time is so wholesome! The Walt statue they added is so nice, and the area around it is even better and night! Love the Mickey Bougainvillea on Living with the Land! Bougainvillea is a genus native to South America. It is named after French admiral and explored Louis Antoine de Bougainville who circumnavigated the globe! The genus was named after him and described by botanist Philibert Commerson who accompanied him. While Bougainville wasn't the first to circumnavigate, Commerson brought along Jeanne Baret, his lover who was disguised as a man in order to get on the ship, who became the first female to circumnavigate the globe!
