Moral of the story with muscle is "use it or lose it"

I’m 64, eat a ton of meat, and I’m getting stronger after 5 years of cancer treatment. I’m benching 225kbs, overhead press of 145lb, leg press 900lbs! And that’s after a total knee replacement. Meat. Heavy weights. And hard work keep me young.

I have more muscle now than I did at 30 cuz I work at it at 60

People only think about muscle but it’s the tendons that move the bones. Further it’s the myelin sheath that covers the nerves that deteriorate as you age not the muscles

Muscles get tight, someone over stretches as they have lost full mobility, they have a sharp pain and then the area is extremely sore, they struggle to do normal day to day activities as the muscle and surrounding muscles are inflamed, person goes to doctors, doctor prescribes pain killers, person has no luck getting rid of right muscles, person goes back to doctors, doctor refers to physio, physio gives exercises, person leaves feeling deflated and cannot do exercises as the muscles are still inflamed, person goes back to doctor and doctor refers to surgeon, surgeon operates, person has more issues than before, this is the story of 90% of my clients, thank god someone is talking about this!

Muscle: look after it, feed it, nourish it, move it, work it, protect it. You won’t be sorry!
  • I’m 40 with the body of an 80 year old because I smoke, drink heavily, work with chemicals and sleep on my face.
