I pick out a random disk from the collection and see what's on it. Sometimes I've played it, sometimes I haven't, sometimes they are good, a lot of times they aren't, but it's always fun.

    As I recall, you had to fly your skimmer to the different derelict buildings and dock with them, then interact with the terminals inside them to find clues as to how to leave the planet. Or am I thinking of Mercenary..? My memory isn't what it was. I do remember shooting the buildings caused them to shoot back. It was an original game and the lighting engine was quite impressive for the time, the sun tracked across the sky and dynamically lit / shadowed the buildings which made for an immersive experience. I didn't rate it anywhere near as highly as Elite though, shoulda played that instead ;)

    Everybodys dead dave :o) I thought that was going to be a shmup or something! Ironic that the game you selected to avoid the complex controls in Elite ended up being harder to play than Elite lol =D
