Video game collector's editions (or special editions, if you wanna get serious about this) often contain some cool bits of extra merch like art books, soundtracks, game maps and, if you're lucky, a neat statuette or figurine. Others contain... "conversation starters"?

  • "How many other videogames with matching underwear have you bought?" stares at catherine collector's edition, sweating nervously
  • @raaaaawrbin
Well guess who owns that baby in a jar (it'sa me) It actually lights up pretty well and is a good replica of the in-game model! Plus you can unscrew it and replace the fake BB with a real baby in the future if need be
  • @KagatoAsuka
I literally used those boxers from Catherine's special edition for an epic Vincent Cosplay for multiple conventions.
  • @redonyx8591
…Why would you have that on your coffee table?! You clearly put it on a shelf.
  • @joywilson4668
Peter repeatedly saying "panties" made me slightly uncomfortable.
  • @guestgex
To be fair it was only the EU Res 7 version (non-music box) house that stank and fell apart, the US version was better quality and the USB finger was a lot better too. Not sure why Capcom shortchanged us in Europe so badly there.
  • @kramer1922
I have the American version of the re7 CE, came with a house music box and a finger usb, but it's a different design then the European one. The house works flawlessly and looks a bit smaller then the euro one. My finger usb looks old and burnt. One of my favorite CE's I own.

I immediately thought of riptide by the title and tbh i would love to have that horrendous torso on my shelf lol
  • @tacot9930
I never got the issue with the riptide bust, i mean that is what the game is about, killing zombies on the beach. I think people are just too sensitive, and like to complain
  • @keegs666
I have the "Zombie Bait" bust and it's actually really good. Way better quality than most other collectible editions.
  • @zelectrode3337
I knew the Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Collector's Edition was going to be a mouse pad, but that particular one is pretty weak. Seriously, I've seen better. Record of Agarest War in particular...
  • @SuperSpeed21
"Why did you spend your money on this?" Me: because I wanted to get it and it's my money
  • @Vednier
Actually that Riptide and FEAR figures is AWESOME. YES, they sure of bad taste and looks gross, but goddamit, they at least delivered that they promised, unlike hordes of other games which swiftly cancelled or trimmed down radically their collectors editions. Promise awesome edition, cancel cool stuff and leave crap with bunch of coupons or DLC codes - muuuch better.
  • I hate to say this but...that Dead or Alive collector's edition is actually pretty impressive. Like the mouse pad is probably going to be helpful and the art book seems really well made and show they know their audience for sure. It's not for me, but it's very good for that one guy we all know
  • @dylanogg347
Legolas should DEFINITELY run around with Curly Wurlies in his quiver.
  • When I got my World at War, the canteen didn't have a lid attached to it, I thought they made it that way so people couldn't use them as flasks, it was clean inside as well.
  • @Psientologist
I have the Stray Sheep edition of Catherine, no boxers or pillow case. Different shirt, but also beer mats and a poster. Plus coming in a pizza box is some good novelty value.
