  • It's got to be tough nowadays for a new channel. Everyone and their brother tries to start a new Youtube channel but I think a lot of them quickly find it's a TON of work for such little return. Best thing I can say for new Youtuber's is to keep on going. Never quit and you'll eventually grow and get better
  • Yes! As a viewer, I LOVE finding and seeing new channels. As a creator, I LOVE when someone I don’t know finds a gem that they enjoy on my otherwise beginner channel. Keep uploading!
  • I have noticed a change recently, my wife and I started our first YouTube channel two months ago and already have 300 subscribers and 20k views! We’ve really seen an uptick in the last month, so this is great news that YouTube is trying to promote much smaller channels 😁
  • To the person who is reading this, don't give up on your channel. Keep going, Its going to be better. 💯

I've been recommended a lot of small YouTubers lately. I love that cause they are killing it. 💕💕💕💕
  • @kcsounds
Yea, I’ve noticed my feed has a lot more “smaller” channels being pushed forward. Love that YouTube is doing this, as there is some amazing channels and content out there, that deserve to be seen 🙌🏾🏆

I’ve noticed the algorithm shift as well. I have two other channels but decided to create this one to niche down, start fresh and apply everything I’ve learned with the other two, and listen, within a week and only 20 subs YouTube started recommending one of my videos and it went crazy! Two weeks later: 12k views, pushed two more videos with it (another 15k views) and in less than a month from starting this channel I have over 300 subs. I’m so happy to see that YouTube is not ignoring small channels 🙏💜

I started a channel a month ago "Another Stupid Week" and my first video got 25 views over 3 weeks, and my third video "skyrocketed" and I got 80 views in 24 hours. It's not much but it's clear that the algo is helping out and it's great encouragement. Also thanks to you guys this channel has been great! Both for encouragement and for tips and tricks.
  • This is such a great news! I started my cooking channel about 2 weeks ago and I can see growth. Thank you YT for helping small YT channel grow and give us encouragement to continue. Hoping my small channel get recommended to more people 🙏. We can do this!!!🤛🤛🤛🤛 Thanks for sharing!
  • Growing my different businesses and YouTube channel can be difficult, but the information I learn on here helps alot.
  • I keep telling myself to stay persistent. With 6 years and 480+ videos, eventually my channel will gain traction. Thanks for all of your advice.

Haven't noticed it just yet for other small creators, neither have I noticed it for my own, but it's great to see! Lately I've done more let's plays on my channel, and a small group of people seem to be enjoying it, my watch time has never been higher! Gaming channels are hard to grow, especially if your small but to see that happening is great to see! I can't wait to grow my community further, and reach new people to enjoy playing games! Never thought I would have an audience for it, but onwards and upwards, don't give up people, keep going no matter what, if you get low views, you'll get more soon, just have some fun with it!
  • @DISTANTMEDIA
Yes! I have noticed smaller channels coming up but still based around what I watch on YouTube, and I much prefer to watch smaller channels anyway so I love this!
  • Wow! The fact that they have teams assigned for small channels is so good to know. This is so motivating. Thank you!
  • @ScarTVYT
I'm glad to see they're pushing small channels! Not even because I'm a smaller creator, but there's so many hidden gems that just haven't gotten their break yet.
  • This was inspiring to hear🙏🏼 I hope all creators small or big get the result they want eventually:)
  • @GamaFlight
I will say, my last 2 videos impressions are way above what I usually get, so it’s def working. Glad YouTube is helping grow smaller channels! Good luck to all of you out there
  • @IM.Sports
After one and a half years I’m getting close to 500 subscribers. Very slow growth.. if people watch my videos they say, you should easily get more views but somehow I don’t 🤷🏼‍♀️ nevertheless I’ll keep doing, I love it 😍
  • @OJsPerception
This shift is DEFINITELY happening for me and im so grateful!!!!
