If my memory serves me correct I think Scott implied that he wouldn't have taken it down because it requires you to own the original game so it was more like a mod rather than its own thing, other than the fact that it was lego.

I fkn knew it! I was like "Yeah lego probably didn't being associated with this game or horror in general so they will definatelly take it down". What's really sad is that there where multiple lego fnaf games in the making.

Honestly i feel the play shouldve been work with scott and those devs to work the games, create the sets because those models are perfect lol, and litterally everyone wins. The devs get to do what they enjoy, scott still gets money for the requiring the og game to play, and lego gets to rake in cash from the lego sets. Win/win/win Maybe the lego company will rethink the dmca when the movie comes out. Probably copium, but well see

Honestly, I don't even think that it's the likeness of LEGO minifigures, I think it's the fact that they included the LEGO logo. If it wasn't called, "LEGO Five Nights at Freddy's" and didn't contain the LEGO logo, it would've been fine.
