(Blood moons happen every ~3 hours of active gameplay)

Inadvertently discovering that Wind Temple affects Tabantha animal spawns is a great detail.

You know what's cool? Ostrich meat in real life IS indeed a red meat (though it has to be cooked thoroughly like chicken)...and Nintendo got that right even though it confuses everyone!
  • @ChampionMahina
That blood moon limitation is so interesting actually, and the fact that animals won't spawn during Tabantha's blizzard! The detail!

WE BE COOKIN WITH THE CHEF AGAIN, WE BE AMKING THE BREAD PIRATE PROUD

This was a blast to watch both live and edited, it was honestly kinda surprising how many unexpected roadblocks there were along the way.
  • It's really fun to think of Link, having saved Hyrule once again, actually taking time for himself and going on a (flying!!!) Motorcycle culinary tour of the land.

the Zelda-aware blood moon is really interesting. i wonder if seeing zelda with captain gaz (i think that's his name if i'm remembering right) after starting lookout landing would fulfill that built in requirement.

BOTW all meals before blood moon was actually the first video I watched on your channel and it feels awesome to see that you did it again!

im so happy you did the sequel! my favorite thing about link is that they'll make these beautifully plated dishes but then will absolutely eat wild poultry raw. for that extra touch of salmonella! someone get this twink dewormed

12:02 i had the same exact reaction, even walked right up to the recipe poster when i first saw this.

Funnily enough, I think the gloom hands in Lindor's Brow cave are the only ones that won't despawn just by having Link stand on high ground
  • the fact that he has Luncheon Kingdom music from SMO in the background is an amazing detail. I haven't watched all of this video, so idk if it's just the botw one, but there was Overcooked! music in the background, too. Nice detail!

I got a panic moon like that too on one playthrough when I got to Rito. Now I know it's a thing

The thing I love the most about BoTW and TotK is they can make simple tasks like cooking feel so relaxing and fun like your on one of those channels where they go out into the wild and use what they find to cook.

The Panic Blood Moon detail is very interesting. I'm wondering how it works in All Dungeons speedruns. Ideally you would be through maybe two temples before getting a blood moon, but this mechanic forces one, right? IIRC in BotW AD speedruns, they could infinitely postpone the bloodmoon because you're always in a Divine Beast or Castle when midnight hits
  • @Novastarsss
I love how you used some music from the orange oasis in omori because it’s all food themed
  • @JoelBrewton
In BOTW, there was an in-game timer/mechanic which made it impossible for a blood moon to spawn until after you completed the Great Plateau. Do we know if the mechanic is still present in TOTK?

Using the curry music from SwSh for the spice foods was chef’s kiss
