LIVE: Secret Service's Kimberly Cheatle testifies before Congress after Trump assassination attempt

The Secret Service Director, Kimberly A. Cheatle, is testifying at a Congressional hearing following the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler Township, Pennsylvania. Trump was shot in his ear, but is expected to be OK.

One person was killed, and two others who attended the rally were hurt in the shooting. Since the shooting, questions have been raised about how the alleged gunman was able to get atop a building with a direct sight line to the former President.
