Supergirl announced at San Diego Comic Con 2018 that Trans Activist Nicole Maines has joined the cast of Season 4 to portray Nial Nal (or "Dreamer") who makes history as television's FIRST transgender superhero.

We spoke with the returning cast of Supergirl to get their first reactions and thoughts about the new addition and learn what it means for the show.

I just finished watching Season 4 and somehow just found this. Jesse Rath looks like he's trying really hard not to give anything away about Agent Liberty. Also hearing David Harewood with his normal accent is kinda weird...ditto with Katie McGrath (who I think is Irish?).
