  • I like the differenciation between good and bad carbs. Great wisdom from Dr Weil! Liking the shorts too btw 🙂
  • @TheZahra110
Really good questions asked by host. I appreciate these shorter videos. Thank you
  • @symlexbrn5396
Our ancestors never worried about their diet, Our problem today is processed food that has outnumbered real whole food
  • @sandram6913
I think Dr Weil has many great ideas and will research his studies more. Thank you!
  • @HaHaroni
We need to become our own diet experts because the authorities on the subject are manipulated and corrupt.

Keto diet is not a placebo effect. I was 49 when I went for a blood test. The doctor said it was a routine test. When I saw my blood sugar level. I wanted to anticipate : if I lower it or keep it down I will have less chances of becoming pre-diabetic or diabetic. I stopped eating sugar, carbs and vegetable oils. 3 weeks later all joint pains, old injuries due to accidents, falls … and skin problems disappeared. I didn’t start the diet do get rid of these pains, I though they were due to aging. The placebo argument does not work for me. 11 months later I am still doing keto diet and I feel 15 years younger. It is worth trying.
  • @sydnei5567
How about these frozen food like fish fingers, croquettes, etc. Are they very bad still?
  • @vegangames3468
Dr Weil has some sensible ideas, but he has some wacky ones as well.
  • @Medietos
Mr Chatterjee interviews well, does good to hear! An Indian speaking accent-free English, gosh!(Maybe born here, but still- many Engl.Indians of 2d generation keep an indian accent. /Does Dr Weill not distinguish btw Yin-Yang, Sick-Healthy humans? He being OK w Meditteranean does not=sick northerners are.+:levels, grades! And how replace meat for health? Rear animals environmental-friendly, planting back the rain-forest.
  • @RebornVisions_
I agree to reduce meat I only eat seafood, but the fruit theory he has is very controversial in my opinion. Fruit fasting and juicing are one of the best things to cleanse the lymphatic system and daily fruit intake has increase natural energy for me x2. Fruit sugars are so different than refined sugars. I’d say balance the fruits with ones with less sugar like berries and mix it up with your others like melons.
  • @15MileMedia
So, is he pro medittreanean? I like sound od it,anyone. Good olive is expensive as $ell. But then whats our health worth?
  • @StateOfMind63
I feel like most people would disagree about Keto being unhealthy. He's assuming people are just eating bacon all day. I eat a balanced diet of healthy fats, probiotics, veges and meat/fish. There's just no need for carbs if you do that. There's plenty of fibre in berries, fruits and green veges.
  • @alicequayle4625
It's good he cares about the environment. When an environment is sick it affects the health of people there. Eg air pollution, pesticides.
  • @ruthpatton4335
It isn't correct to say a keto diet is low in fiber. I think they confuse the Atkins diet with it. Keto can be high in fiber. And on keto one doesn't have to eat a lot of meat. Mix it up with fish, chicken, shellfish. Grass fed beef if eating red meat.
  • @MrWingiii
Soy protein? No. Grass fed finished beef is better for you then fish that’s for sure
  • @15MileMedia
The good Dr lost me at less beef for climate sake, just so you know Dr the % of carbon in our atmosphere is less than a half % 0.04% come on. Our oceans have risen an inch in the last 20,000 years. Our debt is more of a risk 35+ TRILLION $$$ and the current radicals are now spending a TRILLION $$$ every hundred days .I agree with you on processed foods IMO opinion they're killing people and making Dr rich. But its cheaper and more convenient for working 10 jobs to make ends meet families.
