Cooking a couple of meals over charcoal at The Farmhouse. The new hay bale spear we ordered arrives. The new field we plowed and planted this spring gets mowed for the first time. Clearing a little more of the property for pasture. Turkeys, Ducks and Chickens living their best life. Picking Blackberries. Picking more peas out of the garden. The last pasture gate gets installed.

Easy yellow squash recipe for you! Peel and slice a yellow squash into rounds, place them in a ziplock bag with corn meal and a couple tsps of sugar, shake it all up and let them sit for 15 minutes and the corn meal sticks, only need to shake it up every few minutes. Then fry them in some peanut oil, a real game-changer in the squash department!

I love the birds. Those turkeys got so big! It's a wonderful farm. Fantastic garden. Lots of berries and fruit trees. So much to enjoy! I do see it's a lot work but the rewards are so good! Can't wait for the cows! Hello from Ottawa, Canada!😊

The land looks so nice Joe pretty and green and the garden as well. You always have good lunches and awesome dinners!! So excited for when you get the cows, you certainly have it all set up nicely for them. You and Melissa make such a wonderful couple and team work.
