I am so happy that Mr. Brooks got this honor! Also, I am so happy that Nathan and Matthew got the chance to honor him.

That sign language interpreter deserves a raise - translating all that must have been hugely hard work!

How lovely to hear Matthew and Nathan sing some of those songs again! I was lucky enough to see them as Bialystock and Bloom on Broadway in 2001, and it was fantastic!

They both voiced characters for the original animated The Lion King! Nathan Lane voiced Timon, and Matthew Broderick voiced adult Simba. Hakuna matata!

I'm in here singing along and clapping with the biggest smile on my face!!! Mell Brooks is LIFE!!! My Daddy has been super serious always and one day when I was about 13, he sat me down and said we were going to watch the BEST movie ever created. I expected it to be yet another war film. But, nope. It was Blazing Saddles! That was the moment my Daddy became even more of a hero to me because it showed he wasn't just brilliant, loving, and a great provider, but he was also a total goofball!!! over 40 years later, he's still my hero and we still quote lines and songs from Mell Brooks movies together! 🥰🤗

How are they not showing Mel reacting?! That would Be the best part! Nathan commanding the stage per usual tho and Matthew’s sweet awkwardness ❤❤❤

I love Nathan Lane! My favorite of him was Robin Williams and Nathan in The Birdcage. I never laughed so hard as I did with that movie.
