I am so happy that Mr. Brooks got this honor! Also, I am so happy that Nathan and Matthew got the chance to honor him.

How lovely to hear Matthew and Nathan sing some of those songs again! I was lucky enough to see them as Bialystock and Bloom on Broadway in 2001, and it was fantastic!

That sign language interpreter deserves a raise - translating all that must have been hugely hard work!

They both voiced characters for the original animated The Lion King! Nathan Lane voiced Timon, and Matthew Broderick voiced adult Simba. Hakuna matata!

There will never, ever, ever be anyone like Mel Brooks. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten this honor already. He deserves all of the honors. He's a genius <3

I'm in here singing along and clapping with the biggest smile on my face!!! Mell Brooks is LIFE!!! My Daddy has been super serious always and one day when I was about 13, he sat me down and said we were going to watch the BEST movie ever created. I expected it to be yet another war film. But, nope. It was Blazing Saddles! That was the moment my Daddy became even more of a hero to me because it showed he wasn't just brilliant, loving, and a great provider, but he was also a total goofball!!! over 40 years later, he's still my hero and we still quote lines and songs from Mell Brooks movies together! 🥰🤗

I love Nathan Lane! My favorite of him was Robin Williams and Nathan in The Birdcage. I never laughed so hard as I did with that movie.

Matthew is still so cute for his age! 😍 His smile and voice are still like a small boy.

Mel is absolutely The Greatest and Nathan and Matthew are the appropriate opening act for Mel's appearance.
