A game made by Atari, of a Sega franchise, in a Nintendo console. Mind blowing
-
It's so bizarre seeing a SEGA game on a NINTENDO console in 1987.
-
Master System After Burner should've been made like this one. Using smaller sprites helps the NES version perform better, and it often has more enemy planes on screen than the MS. Sega did license Atari Games (Tengen) to make this... it just was not licensed by Nintendo for play on NES.

I remember playing this game, and I never got used to the confusing concept, I never made it passed the 3rd stage.
-
loved the stage 6 theme as a preteen and still love it as a middle ager.
-
A pretty decent Port I'd say, kudos to the unlicensed Developers.
-
The graphics are nost as good as the SMS version, but the game runs smoother and plays better.
-
For an NES port of a game by Nintendo's biggest rival at the time, this wasn't too shabby! I enjoyed it in my youth. Same with the NES ports of Fantasy Zone and Alien Syndrome.
-
Long time for this game
-
lol all this time me and my pops where playing an unlicensed port, the other being Star Wars on our Famicom
-
Interesting how he already got missiles to target at bare minimum.
-
This game basically foreshadowed Sega going third party.
-
Good thing Sunsoft made a better version.
-
Pretty impressive compared to Top Gun.
-
Wasn't the Japanese version actually licensed by nintendo?
-
Top Gun NES game has nothing on this.
-
Its more complicated in nintendo
-
This but with dragons
-
It’s actually a decent port.
