  • I know you both say it’s a waste of time, but you make it seem so intriguing lol
  • "Matt Damon's brother who had drug problems and got clean" is named Ben Affleck 😂
  • "This shit was tedious as hell" 🤣 You guys are my favorite movie critics 🤩
  • @killerdls
Loved this movie. Tied with love lies bleeding for fav of the year. Jesse Plemons gave my favorite performance this year in any movie. 4/5
  • I love you guys because you say it like it is, you recognize when the emperor is buck fucking naked. I will wait until it is streaming.
  • @AMT_823
I trust your movie opinions because every time you tell us it ain't worth watching, and I go ahead and watch it anyway, you guys are right lol. BUT I have to say...the way Joseph explains movies always makes me wanna watch every single one LOL.

I worked on this film - the script goes into slightly more detail regarding character thoughts, symbolism of items & setting, etc. I think a lot of Yorgos’ filmmaking leans into the mystique of it all - he wants you to analyze the films on your own & come up with your opinion on what it truly means. One can also look into various Greek mythos and see similar themes that are also within these three stories (similar - not exact). Hopefully people give it a shot & form their own opinion of the film, even with poor reviews. It certainly won’t be for everyone. I’m still looking forward to it though! Also the person who played Dr. Evans (the psychiatrist is story 2) is my friend - he’s actually 36. He’s older than Emma Stone. He does look to be in his 20s though!
  • When you said the woman dove head first into an empty pool, it made my knees hurt 😆 I was hoping this would be a good movie because I liked Poor Things. Thanks for the review.
  • Hi Joseph & Nick!👍🏼Thanks for the heads up and review.❤Joseph you're my favorite movie reviewer and always give the best descriptive details and Nick you're an expert on movie history details and actors names and characters.❤Watching the trailer numerous times and seeing the purple loud Dodge, it didn't make any sense. I had a feeling after watching the trailer the movie was going to be pretty off the wall, bizarre and twisted. Joseph, after listening to what you had to say, you're absolutely correct.🎆
  • I love Joseph's summation of "Oh I had 3 scripts lying around, 5 friends that are free for two months - let's just shoot this bullshit and slap it together"! It's exactly how I feel and I'm sure it's not far from the truth. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a time limit on the funding or something, so they just phoned it in.
  • Wow, thank you guys for this review!! I needed to listen this type of perspective on the film. I feel this way on Yorgos' dead pan moments not landing on me.
  • Love Joseph coming out with "we're being troll" lol very unexpected and truthful 😂
  • Super excited for this one, dynamic - gimme ALL the deets -duo! Been in hospital 3 1/2 days, just in, let’s go!🎉♥️
  • @anramsay
Trailers didn't do it for me and I read a review for this they gave away the gist of the stories interesting idea but I'm gonna pass on this. Sucks you guys didn't like this but thanks for the review.
  • I'll wait for streaming. If Lars Von Trier had this cast, it would have been really interesting. It's almost like he's tried to pull some Mulholland Drive/Lost Highway ideas but it became convoluted.
  • @SCL8294
Full of missed opportunities. I think this was really just an excuse for Yorgos Lanthimos to throw all his fetishes into a blender.
  • I find this movie very funny, I guess we have a similar sense of humor with the director and the writer. 😅 The end was hillaroius for me. Have no idea what it should mean though, if anything. I sort of understand how first and third story go together but not the second.
  • @lm3513
Whether you like it or not, it's definitely a film you want to discuss afterwards.
