10/10. My favorite thing is if you're stuck on a boss, you can literally run away and spend hours exploring

It makes me incredibly happy to hear only positive things. It feels like far too long since we got a game that actually lived up to the hype.

The biggest problem with elden ring is the fact that all other games will now be mid
  • @lilgamedev
Not sure I’ve seen it addressed anywhere, but goodness, the AI in this game, all of it, down to the smallest npc, is designed to absolutely fuck you over the moment it sees a chance, and that right there is a rabbit hole of game programming by itself

Elden Ring makes you go "wow" every 5 minutes its so good
  • This is as close we'll ever get to 100% on the Moist Meter, this is basically the perfect score already. This game really does deserve all the praise it's receiving.

Elden Ring and rdr2 r probably the only games I’ve ever played where I had extremely high expectations going into the game and was still blown away

I genuinely feel Elden Ring will go down as one of the top ten greatest video games of all time. I've never been so fucking impressed by a game before, but Elden Ring exceeded the absolute shit out of my expectations. I've got 50 hours logged, and I still haven't seen anywhere near everything. I found a random cave earlier that I expected to be a standard mineshaft, but then it opened up into a large self-contained area filled with ruins and platforming, and that was after I thought I'd explored most of the area. There are secrets and hidden zones fucking everywhere, and Elden Ring has consistently rewarded me for indulging my own curiosity and following my intuition when I think "I wonder what's over there?" It's been far too long since a game not only lived up to the hype, but exceeded it. Elden Ring makes me feel like a kid discovering the magic of games all over again. Thank you, FromSoftware.

This game feels like the perfect fantasy world I imagined as a kid with the open world and huge fully explorable castles troughout it

You can also tell how fromsoft mastered tapping into the psychology of players by having the first npc calling you out for having no bitches.
  • I love that Charlie made this before beating the game. Just goes to show how genuine his enjoyment is and I gotta say. I’m 24hrs in, only killed the first major boss and am having a blast just exploring and finding items, weapons and other stuff. This game is a masterpiece
  • The whole Siofra river thing happened to me as well. Was doing the Kenneth Haight side quest and the river well is literally on the way. I got curious and sidetracked for like 2-3 hours exploring that area and killing the deer. I didn't even finish as I didn't feel I was strong enough to beat the spirits. This game is 9.9/10 easy, 10/10 with the fps fix.

Man everyone's play through is so different, so many options and freedom. Quality game

I have not been this engrossed in playing a game in a year. This is a hallmark triple A game that studios sadly can't seem to make consistently nowadays.
  • @bparamo96
Anybody come back after seeing his god of war video
  • Fromsoft almost never disappoints, they’ve belt up such a solid streak of games, it’s almost unmatched what they’ve been able to do
  • @ayejayekaye4562
This is a rare review from Charlie where he almost has no bad things to say. That speaks to the greatness of this game
  • @Justicejuice179
Horse is deeper than a lot of people think. It can legit be used to dodge attacks for one. Depending on the weapon it’s also a fight changer. It’s even good for some staggering jump attacks.
  • @TheGRAclan
I'm so conflicted when it comes to watching videos on Elden Ring. I wanna watch them to see peoples opinion and what they've experienced but also I really dont wanna ruin anything of the experience for myself. There's so many moments I've had with the game where it's genuinely left me speechless and jaw dropped, like actually full on mouth open "oh mah gawd" face and I wanna preserve that.
  • @bilalsyed5442
Honestly once the minor bugs are fixed this game deserves to be the first 100% on the moist meter
