If I remember my lore right, before slaanesh literally just ate any aeldari soul that died, they could reincarnate out of the realm of souls/warp at will and keep all of their memories and experiences intact. So the meme of slaanesh being "murderfucked into existence" probably actually undersells precsisely how messed up shit got at the time. If you could just respawn at any time consequence-free, actual murderfucking would get old hat pretty quick.

This ignores the fact that Asuryan banning the Eldar from interacting with their Gods started a domino effect that led to the Fall of the Eldar. Without their Gods, the Eldar entered a spiral downward to depression for 60 million years and they have to cope with being Dark Eldar and creating a God just to fill the hole that the absence of their gods created
