Daily Mail's Political Correspondent Chris Pleasance dives into the Arctic war.

This is how and why each of these global powers are now squaring up over the Arctic Circle, what they are fighting over, and how all of that affects the great game for global dominance that is already playing out further to the south.

53% of the arctic circle belongs to Russia, others are just little players 😮

The problem for me is this just seems like a new front for US imperialism. Just as the US-led NATO provoked 'sparked' the war in Ukraine by attempting to surround all of Russia's borders from the West with this military alliance, and Balkanize it just as they did with Yugoslavia. There is a pattern here. The same tactic is being used against China now, by officially stating that they are expanding NATO to the Indo/South-Pacific. China is trying to get a piece of the action yes, but ultimately with cooperation and investment with Russia, not military threats! The northeast passageway is Russian territory geographically and by international law. Historically, and from current actions, NATO is showing intent to 'spark' a conflict once again, and will aggressively expand further North and create a security threat! This behavior is set in stone by the USA's 'Wolfowitz Doctrine. so it's documented as well!! I'm British, and this is similar to what we did back in the day, and I'm tired of conflict for a worldwide monopoly. What happened to 'free trade?' People will disagree with me on some points, and that's fine, but I hope we can all agree that avoiding conflict is the best solution! Peace to everyone!

China's most northern piece of coast is about the same latitude as Naples, Italy. Its most northern piece of land is about the same latitude as Dublin, and from there you'd have to go through almost 2000km of Russia to get to the Arctic Ocean...

Did you call Putin a Despot? I am from Russia and I will vote for him in 2024. only because of you. (if Britain criticizes, then he's doing everything right)

50 bases is how much the US has in just Saudi alone.

6:39 Suggesting that the russians blew up their own pipeline is how you understand this whole video is just pure propaganda.

Lol, only Russia's Arctic coastline is of importance and strategic value. The US and Canada can whine all they want but their Arctic coastline is useless from a trading point of view. 😅

It’s strange that the video is not called “Ukrainian soldiers heroically storm Russian trenches in the Arctic"

Planting a flag under the polar ice cap...or on the moon...or Mars means absolutely nothing. Simply remove it and replace it with a Canadian, Ukranian or Ice Landic flag! EZ pezy!
  • @RemSupernova
No Finland, Iceland and Swedland. Only Russia, Canada, Usa, Denmark, Norway!
  • @ec6052
China can have ALL the arctic territory it borders. Nobody will mind...

he keeps referring to America, does he mean the North American Continent or the United States?
