Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria (Retd.) is the former Chief of Air Staff and is a decorated officer with a career spanning over four decades. He also served as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC) at Southern Air Command. He is the man who spearheaded the Rafale negotiations during his tenure as vice chief of the Air Staff. In his four-decade career, Bhadauria has the distinction of logging more than 4,250 flight hours across 26 different types of fighter jets and transport aircraft. In this edition of the ANI Podcast with Smita Prakash, he shares insights on India's Balakot strike against Pakistan following the Pulwama attack. He applauds the political will that led to action against terrorists. He talks about the importance of the Rafale's induction into the Indian Air Force and terms it a game-changer for the air arm of the Indian Armed Forces and also talks about expediting indigenous aircraft production. Bhadauria also shares details on the escalation in the Indo-China border post Galwan clash and how the Indian Air Force's deployment acted as a deterrent to China's intentions.

    Dear ANI Team, I'm a big fan of your podcast and interviewing skills but I think in this episode you were together (both Smitha and the other gentleman) and as a result were cutting into the conversations more often than not. Indigenously built technically advanced air power needs to be Focussed and we need some World Class outcomes in the next 3-5 years. It has been long overlooked after independence. 2.     on February 27. 2019, Shooting down of Mi-17 was a big mistake, admitted IAF chief.All six of our Indian Air force personnel onboard in Mi'17 and one civilian on the ground were killed in the crash on 27th February 2019. RIP .😭.!. u r a very honest Air chief Bhadauria.👍👏

    Please invite Dr Niraj Rai and Sanjeev sanyal both together and discuss the history of indian civilization.Niraj Rai being Archeo genesist is best suited to unearth history through archeology and genetics and Sanjeev sanyal 's book Land of the seven rivers based on history of indian civilization is more appropriate book on history of indian civilization rather than Marxist historians written history school books.
