Actress and activist Nicole Maines talks about her groundbreaking role as Nia Nal on Supergirl. Nia is the alter ego of broadcast TV's first transgender superhero Dreamer. In this interview conducted at the Supergirl alien bar set in November 2018, Nicole talks about joining the Supergirl cast, the acceptance and encouragement she has been getting from fans, the possibility of a costume for Dreamer, and more.
