In this rare video footage former Prime Minister Indra Gandhi explains the situation on the war front in 1971. She talks about how she is going to handle the situation of the war and how she is trying to prevent war from Pakistan.
India won a glorious victory against Pakistan in the 1971 war. It was the first decisive victory in a major war in centuries. And it was won handsomely, in the face of opposition and threats from a majority of the UN member-States, including a superpower.

The whole of Bangladesh will be forever in debt to this brave lady. Indra Gandhi gave us our separate homeland for bengali Muslims and protected us from bankrupt Pakistan and barbaric Pakistan armed forces. Thank you to hindus, indian army and indians as well.
