I've not come across these racist comments but I bet you wouldn't give a tinker's cuss what colour skin the man had if he was shedding his blood to protect you and yours. Racist comments say more about your own shortcomings than it does about anyone whose skin isn't of the purest white.

Well said that man - we had 5 Scots based in Canterbury for years - they were loved & respected by the whole community. we miss em. Have a look how the town said goodbye - everyone turned out! Respect and love.

My Gurkha Regiment was affiliated to the KOSBs and I remain tremendously honoured by that.

I was in Holyroodhouse on the same parade 4 years ago,I did cry like a baby.Everybody should see it at least once in a lifetime.I cant explain the emotions and the feelings during the march of this wonderful guys, they deserve to be called The heroes. The locals were telling us this soldiers were fighting in Afganistan,Irak etc...so this is an honor for them to be in this special group. I love Scotland and the Scots and their Whisky with no ice!

Some of my ancestors were Scottish so this means a lot to me. May we all live in peace and harmony with respect. My love to all from the United States of America.
  • I spent a week in Scotland when i was in the Navy and I loved it. Rolling green hills, fish and chips and Tennents Lager. A small town with the the most loving welcoming people. The bag pipes is the most looked forward to in the US for a parade.

Great drill by the Royal Scots Borderers, I'm very proud of you boys, I am a veteran infantry soldier from the New Zealand Army, 1961- 1964. I have Scottish blood in my veins, from my mother, (from Glasgow) and my father, handed down from the McRae Clan. Godbless you all boys. Robert William Wilson. New Zealand.

I feel proud of you, and I have nothing to do with your country. You are an inspiration.

I feel so honoured to see this video. My grandfather was the RSM of the 1st Battalion Kings Own Scottish Borderers during World War One. I understand he fought at Gallipoli and the Somme.
