In honor of the upcoming new Pixar film, we decided to point the sin cannon at another classic Pixar movie, Monsters Inc. As per our motto, we did find some sins.

Next week: Something recent, and something dance related.

Remember, no movie is without sin. Which movie's sins do YOU want to see recounted?

I don't understand how someone could be too old to be scared of a monster coming into their room, i'm 16 and if I saw anything coming out of my closet in the middle of the night I'd panic.

Another sin: "Mike says to Sully, "You've been jealous of my good looks since the 4th grade". How can they be childhood best friends when they first met in college in the prequel?
  • Got to love how he removes a sin and then immediately nitpicks the most nitpickable thing to give it back LoL
  • "I'm watching you wazowski, I'm alwayssss watching you." That line is worthy of a sin removal.

The coffee cups are probably to cater for the different sized monsters... Just a thought.

I love how Monster's Inc tells a true to life story. You go to university to learn one skill, only for it to become defunct only a few years later.

Fun fact: boos real name is Mary, seen on a drawing she drew and showed to sully and signed

I remember when my family went to see this in theaters my grandfather was all like, "I don't want to see a stupid kids movie!"  When the end of the movie came up he was crying going, "That was a good flick."

Did you really give the movie an extra sin because of Kyle? GODDAMMIT, KYLE. GET IT TOGETHER.

The animators really did animate the company play "put that thing back where it came from"

The reason that boo was afraid of Randal and not sully, is cause the kids are matched to their monsters based on their personalities. Big hairy monsters that roar don’t make her scream, they make her cry. while something invisible and suddenly popping out at her is prob more unpredictable and will keep her on edge to make her scream.
  • You missed... Why is there a door in the middle of a frozen wasteland?!?
  • @luckypiee
You missed time zones. Time zones are the biggest problem of this movie.

Monster's Inc. 110% deserves to start off with negative sins.

4:20 They literally state in the beginning of the movie that monsters are given kids that they're most compatible with. Meaning kids that have specific fears that the monster is equipped to capitalize on. It's not illogical that Boo is afraid of lizards but fine with big furry animals.

"Why was she not scared of Sully?" Me: Just as a reminder... "KITTY"
  • 2:05 Monsters University explains that 2:40 Monsters come in a range of sizes 2:50 Healthy teeth=strong teeth, I kinda think monsters would need strong teeth 4:21 Randall has been sneaking into her room and scaring her for a while, not once has Sulley attempted to scare her up to this point...later in the film when he actually roars he scares her. 5:20 Boo jumped in front of someone taking a picture and yelled Boo! 6:25 Maybe staying invisible takes a lot of effort and energy? 7:35 Proper screams probably have some sort of sonic energy in them, whereas a recording is just a recording. It won't work in the same way a video clip of the sun won't work on solar panels. 8:49 Boo pushed the lever, Sulley wasn't looking when she did and doesn't know which one to push 12:31 Mike isn't scary
