As chaos festers in the hive city of Tertium, the prologue sets the stage for the grim task that lies ahead. Players will be introduced to the core mechanics of the game, from brutal melee combat to strategic psychic powers, all while being immersed in the rich lore and dark narrative that Warhammer 40,000 is renowned for. This is where your story begins, as a recruit in the Inquisition's ranks, tasked with rooting out heresy and corruption in a city teetering on the brink of collapse.

    - Im' loyal. Served the throne. - God damn it, Gump! You're a god damn genius! This is the most outstanding answer I have ever heard.
  • An Ogryn speaking in complete sentences AND reloading weapons? Clearly, this one's a genius.
  • Does anyone else enjoy the fact the Ogryn has to crouch first before the cutscenes can start so he fits in them?
  • I'd love to see the guardsmen ask, "What do we do about that one" and the heretic looks at them crazy like, "My man, that's an OGRYN, we just leave 'em be."
  • This game gives lasguns the respect they finally deserve
  • How dare they cage the big guy "Yes sah, understand sah" like the big guys has had to say that a few thousand times to over emperor agents
  • *Ogryn picks up massive shovel* Kreigsman: *Heavy breathing intensifies*
  • Ogyrn: Luv me Emprah. Luv me Throne. Luv me sparky club. 'Ate heretics. 'Ate Xenos. 'Ate disloyality. Simple as.

Very cool, and a very Dan Abnett-y way to start the story too. Nice to see that his handiwork came out so clearly.
  • 7:48 I desided to take a closer look at the kickback shotgun's shells and this is what I notest: On the back of the shell, it reads: Munitorum 17/20-1057/51 (No idea what those numbers mean). And the shell has Imperium logo on its side (nice).

Chaos: -Come back for their imprisoned mate -Call him 'brother' -Willing to sacrifice for the cause Imperium: -Imprison your own guys -Call your names -Willing to sacrifice the others for the cause I wonder who the bad guys are...
  • At 6:28, I can't help but delight in the orchestra humming softly as the Arbites once more asks whether the Ogryn was, and still is, loyal to His Imperium, and with a soft silence, he simply says. "True" Call them dull, sluggish, abnormal; Ogryns are nothing if not loyalty made flesh and bone, unbreakable.
  • @rara3538
"you said you were a loyal servant of the throne" >:( hmmm yes ogryn remembers about that "true"
  • Let’s face it, any ogryn that can do half the stuff this one can is a damn genius. Not that I’m complaining. I love the big lovable idiots.

Oh man the size of that shotgun shell is something you’ll only see in 40k
